Stevens Construction completes Foxtail Coffee Co. in Cape Coral

Stevens Construction completed construction of Foxtail Coffee Co., 2494 Liberty Park Drive, in Liberty Health Park in Cape Coral. In approximately 85 days, the Stevens Construction special projects team provided a 1,540-square-foot build-out of a shell space into the fast-growing craft coffee brand’s first Cape Coral location. Now open from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, the Winter Park-based coffee hangout includes a coffee bar, retail space, Kelly’s Ice Cream, drive-thru and open dining area.

Hampton Inn & Suites opens in East Naples

Williamsport, Pennsylvania-based commercial developer The Liberty Group opened its newly built 124-room Hampton Inn & Suites at 5146 Tamiami Trail E. in East Naples. The four-story hotel abuts the new Lamborghini Naples dealership and The Isles of Collier Preserve luxury community. Amenities include a full-service bar, oversized pool area, meeting space, fitness center and business center.

Enclave of Naples begins phase one of renovation

North Naples-based Studio CGU announced the first phase of renovations at the Enclave of Naples condo complex at 601 Gulf Shore Blvd. N. in Naples. The first phase focuses on a complete overhaul of the condominium’s existing social room, bringing updates to the fitness center and social room and adding amenities, including a steam room, full-catering kitchen, unique social bar and other high-end finishes. Phase two will include renovation of the pool, deck and pavilion, while phase three includes lobby renovation and expansion. Finally, phase four will consist of hardscape and landscape improvements.

Lee County medical office building sells for $5.9M

Lee Healthcare Holdings LLC purchased a 16,136-square-foot medical office building on 1.32 acres at 9090 Park Royal Drive, just north of Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida in Lee County’s Health Park, from B&K Building Partnership LLP for $5.9 million. Built in 2005, the facility features 16 exam rooms and seven offices. Fischler Property Co. represented the seller.

Premier Mobile Health Services adds Immokalee location

Premier Mobile Health Services, a nonprofit health clinic that brings essential medical care to those in need across Lee County, expanded with a new location in Immokalee. The Collier County expansion was made possible by a $30,000 grant from the Moorings Park Foundation, the charitable arm of the Naples-based retirement community. That support will enable Premier Mobile Health Services to provide free health screenings and education on disease prevention in the rural agricultural community east of Naples, emphasizing those 60 and older. This month, the mobile clinic will visit Immokalee from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 25 at 201 S. Third St. Walk-ins are welcome. Patients without insurance and those who provide proof of income below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines are provided care at no cost; others in need pay on a sliding scale based on income.

Lee Clerk to host Passport Saturday ahead of spring travel season

With the spring and summer travel season quickly approaching, Lee County Clerk & Comptroller Kevin Karnes is hosting a Passport Saturday event to help citizens apply for a passport. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 1 at the Clerk’s Official Records office in downtown Fort Myers. The extended hours help those who want to apply for a passport but can’t make it to the office on weekdays. Customers can click here  to ensure they have all of the required documentation and acceptable forms of payment for both the U.S. Department of State and Clerk’s office. Passport photos are available on-site for an additional cost. Appointments are not required but can be scheduled by clicking here for expedited service. 

Organizations to cohost forum on building resilience

Collier Community Foundation, Greater Naples Leadership and Naples United Church of Christ are joining forces to present Taking the Punch out of Powerful Hurricanes: A Forum on Building Resilience from 3:30 to 5 p.m. March 18 at Naples United Church of Christ. This community forum will delve into the profound impact of hurricanes on quality of life and local economy and the unprecedented challenges facing our coastal community. Attendees will gain insight into the science behind these powerful storms and learn actionable steps and proactive measures our community can take to prepare for, respond to and build resilience against future hurricanes. Keynote speakers for the event include Matt Devitt, chief meteorologist of WINK News; Jennifer Jurado, chief resilience officer and deputy department director of the Resilient Environment Department in Broward County; and Dan Summers, CEM, FPEM, director of the Collier County Emergency Management Division. First United Methodist Church Donates $10K to Grace Place

Grace Place for Children and Families received a $10,482 donation from First United Methodist Church, ensuring the operation of one of its school buses for the entire year. Grace Place’s school buses are essential for providing children in Golden Gate with safe and reliable transportation to and from educational programs. This support ensures that students can access life-changing opportunities without barriers.

Tickets available for Wonder Gardens’ gala

Tickets are available for the Wonder Gardens’ eighth annual Enchanted Gala from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 13. An Enchanted Oasis is the theme of the signature fundraising event that will raise money for planned improvements to the historic gardens and its rescued, nonreleasable birds and reptiles. Gala attendees will enjoy live music by DiscoMania, welcome cocktails courtesy of Chartreuse Craft Cocktail Lounge, a dinner provided by Artichoke and Co. and live and silent auctions. Regular tickets for the Enchanted Gala cost $250, and patron tickets cost $325.
